RRS Sites

I checked some of these RRS sites this am. and found that they would be quite useful, in checking the different newsites, current info on people, sports, interests. I clicked into some of the sights and then see also new links that I can also go into associated with the topics. I realize that I would have to subscribe to these sites in a Blog Line, then they would appear for me to read on connected on my one topic.

The carts were fun and Shirley sure has a great knack in fishing for those balls out of play. It was great playing the Best ball, and I hope to get out again sometime, althought I think I need to go to the driving range and do a lot of practising. Thanks for the fun!!

Baby blanket and gramma House

Baby Luke and Gramma, enjoying the lovely baby blanket made by the wonderful contributions from the wonderful Library Staff. Gramma has been enjoying babysit, certainly as much as I can. He is changing so quickly and smiling up a storm, with those cute little dimples. My Gramma brag book is being kept up to date quite well, and I will bring it in for staff to see again at a later date.He likes to listen to music and I sing to him often, but I must get some of those great kids dept. books with kids songs in them. What a lot of fun in store for me!!!

Gramma's House

As of May 24th I became a Gramma, and must say that I am enjoying that very much. My grandson Luke David House was born in Waterloo weighing 5 lbs 6 oz. He is now up to 8 1/2 lbs and is doing very well. They came up for a visit on the wk end and I took some pictures of Luke in his lovely knitted Library blanket. The blanket is lovely colors of dark blue, light blue, and yellow squares, and a little boy doll to go with it, in the same colors. This blanket was a wonderful gift my Library co-workers gave to me as a gramma gift. Everyone played their part in either buying the wool or knitting the squares. What fantastic teamwork!!! I will keep this blanket to use at my house when he comes to visit me. He has now started to smile, so that was very exiting to see.
Now that I am working part time, I will have some time to baby sit for them, and will be able to enjoy seeing the changes in him as he grows, begins to crawl, start to say words. (Hopefully I will be able to squeeze a "gramma" word in there also. At any rate, I will keep you posted on the next exciting thing that he does. Gramma Helen
